I had the honor ( honestly, I didn't want to miss it) of accompanying my brother to get his passport. He is much worse tham me in calling out hypocricy and mocking anyone within earshot. His birth certificate was his original, and it was badly faded.
The lady laments it may be too faded to use, which led to the reply....hey, it better than the one the president used.....which brought about a few stares and I could tell who the obamaites were.
Then ( my favorite moment) he was asked if he just wanted the card or the full passport. Asked the difference, the lady explained the card doesn't act as a full passport and there could be some instances where he wouldn't be allowed to re enter the country.......now, my brother can imitate the Mexican accent pretty well.....and he did. He told this lady he was going to Mexico, so if an instance happened to keep him from re entering, he'd just come back like all his Mexican brethren, thru Arizona, since Obama has opened the borders down there.
Dang, they were not amused.....and he poured it on. He kept saying " it's true, it's true" you can't stop me from coming in. He blabbered some stuff on healthcare ( in Spanglish), becoming a citizen in Mexico, gettin a free gun while there, until his wife made him stop.
Dang, we laughed all the way home.
