Bring Back the Draft

Bring back the Draft. Hey remember when liberals were against that?
Quote
And libertarians who object to a draft could opt out. Those who declined to help Uncle Sam would in return pledge to ask nothing from him — no Medicare, no subsidized college loans and no mortgage guarantees. Those who want minimal government can have it.

Oh, but you still pay your full tax bill so you can fund others benefits right? In other words you have a choice of  3  various options for  slavery working for the society.  Military Fighter, Military Bureaucrat, or indie slave - denied access to the benefits you fund at gun point.
Go fascist totalitarian liberals! If they hate our system so much why don't they just move to another "better" country?  Oh right, they know perfectly well that would lower their standard of living. I want my cake and to eat it too. After all  in the long run we are all dead.  Well Keynes, the long run has arrived.  But its a great source of "cheap labor"!  You see if a corporation exploits "cheap labor" is wage slavery. When a government does it , its good for everyone!

One of my favorite things to say to liberals is " If these programs are so great, what not make participation in them voluntary? Let us opt out of the program and the taxes, and most conservatives won't care what you do..."

If the liberal responds at all its to suggest that something bad would happen and then you would still be "our problem" - Which is really the thing. They want things like that to be the Governments problem and not their responsibility. They dread ever having someone who is hurting  ask them for help, because they are far to selfish to give it, and when they refuse they can't see themselves as a "good person" or play at being a super hero anymore.  At some level they know letting people opt out would bankrupt the system, but that isn't a concern for them- the govt can always print more money- that is what more means. No, what scares them is the reality that they don't care at all- which is why they want "society" to do the caring for them. That way they don't have to be confronted with the fact that they are selfish narcissistic assholes every bit as greedy as they accuse others of being.

Yea, let's create a country with 3 levels of slavery....and if you happen to be black, you automatically are made an officer to correct the centuries of injustice. Latinos? Don't worry, serve and you can bring your entire family with you......Oh, you already do? sorry, my bad.

It figures this call comes from the Old Gray Whore and is written by a typical elitist liberal POS!

The dishonest POS should have put an accurate disclaimer in his rant by changing the header to "Let’s Enslave Our Kids"!

The left-wing c*cksucking commie asshole and everyone like him should all spontaneously self-terminate!

Charlie Rangle wanted that during the Bush era to teach the rich GOP what it was like to have to go and serve. What he must have forgotten was that the libs want no part of the military.

No.
My doctor told me to start killing people.  Not in those exact words, she said I had to reduce the stress in my life.

Same thing.

Of course, this idea is bullsh*t.

No one in the military who isn't a politician wants a draft. It sucks to have "soldiers" who don't want to be there.

But, take this argument as an opportunity. Make a counter argument that no one who doesn't have "skin in the game" should be allowed to vote. If you don't pay taxes then you don't get to vote.

Now of course, that's never going to happen...it's unconstitutional for one thing...but make the counter argument anyway and let the leftists defend against it.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

What immediately came to mind as I was reading this dolt's screed was Bradbury's "Starship Troopers" and the imperative that military service was the only path to full-fledged citizenship. And I thought Øbozo was transformative!
