"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Awesome!  Completely accurate in everything he said and man when you can combine that with spot-on humorous ridicule of your opponents...hot damn, I love it!  I want to see everybody going after the Left and laying the truth out there like this!!!

One more reason to like this guy.

This is exactly what the Republicans need more of. He doesn't wring his hands and waste all his energies trying to deny the ridiculous accusations hurled by the Left. Instead he goes after them on their destructive policies.

Can you imagine Mr. Gucci Loafers and his guttersnipe aides trying to "whip" Allen West into voting with the leadership? If they had any sense at all they wouldn't even bother, but if they did I would like to be a fly on the wall.

The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Rarely do representatives and senators become president.
Reason being they have not been administrators, persons responsible for the accomplishment of goals.  Congress critters sit around and think up goals for others.

Alan West is one of those who has been a successful administrator and has been responsible for the accomplishment of extraordinary goals.  At this moment he is and "outside of the box" representative. The longer he remains a rep the more he will become assimilated.

Allen West & Sarah Palin: leaders of the free world 2012.

I got stuck with one of those 2008 crooks, and then Blumenthal last year...thank god we cannot afford to live here much longer, got to move south and get a Representative like Allen West...and his Dirty Harry is spot on!

That's worth a tingle or two.  And all without a teleprompter.

I would pay to see West debate Obama, even if it was just for sh*ts and grins.

What do you expect Obamakov to do, just stand there looking stupid. C'mon man, he's a bumbling, stumbling demonic child king. I'd surely enjoy seeing that debate.
