And on the smoothly operating London operation...

Row upon row of empty seats... as tickets sent to foreign VIPs go on the black market

AN Olympic guard faces the sack for spitting at an Army hero drafted in to boost security — and yelling: “Baby killer.”

The Asian G4S worker flipped as he patrolled an archery contest at Lord’s cricket ground with the Afghan veteran.

A source said: “This security guard was ranting and raving at the soldier.

“He was trying to defuse the situation but the guard was going crazy. He spat at the soldier and screamed at him. He was calling him a baby killer.

“He left the soldier in no doubt he meant he’d been responsible for children’s deaths while serving in Afghanistan.

“Despite the provocation, the soldier remained ice cool and didn’t lose his calm.

“Some of their respective colleagues arrived and the guard was removed.”

Bosses at security company G4S — which had to be bailed out by troops after failing to supply enough guards for London 2012 — yesterday said an urgent investigation was under way.

Hopefully this POS is dealt with, otherwise a good 'ol fashioned blanket-party is called for!  The soldier showed a measure of control far exceeding normal expectations, I pray he encounters no more dreggs of society.

Yah, hooray.  Give the guy a medal for "Courageous Restraint".

Not snorting at you, Libs, just at the whole egregious mess.

Is this the same company that originally hired non-English speaking guards?

I know.  Prove's Mitt was right again, not only is security a problem, finding people of sufficient character and qualification is sorely lacking, this soldier doesn't deserve a medal from any libiot, his restraint was bourne of his own good character, not manufactured by morons who know little of character.

Y'all see this?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2180836/London-Olympics-2012-Chinese-swimmer-Ye-Shiwen-breaks-world-record-leads-questions.html

No way in hell does this Chi-Com swimmer perform like this without some form of doping, just no way.  There are also allegations that the Chi-Com's are putting up girls under 15 years old in gymnastics.  There are a lot of shady dealings going on behind the Great Wall!  Just like the East Germans of the Soviet era, the Chi-Com's are the current practicioners of dirty tricks.  You would think with an all powerful state with an enourmous population to exploit they could find and train athletes that meet the rules everyone else is observing, but they see no problem in cheating their way to medals.  But expecting ethical behavior from communists is like thinking pigs can fly!

"The Asian G4S worker..."

Korean?  Taiwanese?  Philippino?  Do tell.

Oh, I get it.  Southwest "Asian,"  not to be confused with what we all think of as Asian.

Drygalla's Olympics were already over after her rowing team failed to qualify for Thursday's final, but she has been back to her native country to avoid any 'burden for the Olympic team'.

She had met with German rowing officials and 'stressed credibly' that she is 'committed to the values of the Olympics charter', but was sent home anyway by the national Olympic association's general director, Michael Vesper.

It was claimed Miss Drygalla's boyfriend was a member of a regional National Socialist group and had fought a state election for the far-right National Democratic Party.

Maybe it's just me but I really do not care to see our athletes wear the flag as if it's a beach towel. It's disrespectful in my opinion.

And I know that some people think they are fine but (again, in my opinion) a tongue piercing detracts from an otherwise attractive face.

I hear ya on the flag, some just get exuberant, others do it just because it's the thing to do, I think it is over the top and shows a certain level of basic respect.

Speaking of tongue piercings, the Aussie gal who won the hurdles looked like a nice wholesome gal...till she opened her mouth wide...

Really, a pierced tongue...swell...

That's the one that I saw that prompted my comment. I thought the very same thing, that she was a nice looking person until she opened her mouth.
