Rooskie military buildup
« on: August 12, 2012, 09:56:08 PM »
720b on aircraft...they'll have to sell a lot of oil, hookers & booze to cover that tab, or are they going to go the massive debt route like everybody else?

Anyway, Vlad needs an enemy, wonder who he has in mind?

Assad has turned the Kurds loose and is using them as a buffer
with Turkey.  The Kurds and the French gas co Total have a
working arrangement that Iraq says must be terminated or lose
drilling rights in Iraq proper.  Seems as if there is a lot of property
not being properly exploited or administrated.

It's only fitting.  We follow them into Afghanistan then they follow
us into Iraq.

Those who carelessly play with fire usually set themselves ablaze, often engulfing others in the process.  Turkey is itching for a reason to stomp heads, releasing the Kurds might just might be the spark for a larger regional conflagration that sucks bigger players in.

Yeah, see what happens when nature isn't allowed to take its course?  Syria was isolated and a non-factor, but that was ruined by Arab Spring Obama and now larger carnivores are gathering for the feast such folly creates.

Aside from the cruise missile and mine-laying risks...umm, do we really want a banana republic like Venezuela getting a nuclear-powered sub?   ::speechless::   ::facepalm::

Rooskies are N-V-T-S NVTS!

Should be chasing these bastards off...Obama seems content letting them probe us.

I wish Obama would just probe himself!

Considering the amount of time it took the Indians to take delivery
Russia will have a big fat down payment to work with.

Long before they take delivery and after, if ever, they take delivery
it will then be necessary to for them purchase the missiles.  By then
Russia's new armup will be financed and the Romney administration's
tech advisors shall have overseen Venezuela's transition back to a
democratic republic.

Well, the Rooskies are out there again hustling up monies
to pay for that arm up.[blockquote] (Reuters) - Syria is preparing to complete a deal with ally Russia to secure much-needed oil products to keep its economy and military running, the head of a Syrian delegation to Russia said on Tuesday, weeks after he said an agreement had been reached.
[/blockquote]
Is that, yes, it's a violin in the distance playing.
Sounds similar to that mohameden call to prayer.

It seems to me that the easiest way for Russia to avoid being invaded would be for Russia to continue to be Russia. Who would want them?!

The Russian Bear's latest effort is to reconfigure its army from the traditional reliance on lots of personnel in lots of divisions to less personnel in brigades and increase quality to offset the loss of quantity...

Talk about a 180!  The Red Army isn't the same from the old Patriotic War days, not even a shadow of its latter Soviet era NATO OpFor structure...changing the structure, size and culture?  Ufda!  Let me know how that works out for ya!
