"We still need to find a way to impact the nature of food in grocery stores, in terms of sugar, fat, and salt.”

Quote
... “With 'Lets Move!,' our goal is to end the problem of childhood obesity in a generation,” Mrs. Obama said. “And while we’ve seen some very profound cultural shifts, we still have communities that don’t have access to affordable and healthy foods.

... Mrs. Obama’s “Lets Move!” campaign has published an online guide called “Supermarket Shopping 101” that provides tips for shoppers on the importance of making a list and how to navigate a grocery store.

“Steer clear of the cookie, snack and soda aisle until after you’ve collected everything on your list--at that point, your cart should be full, which might make you feel less tempted to buy things you don’t need,” the guide states.

... How do we strengthen families and make them healthier—an issue not just in America but around the world,” she said.

Because you morons aren't doin' it right without her instruction, "we" need to "make" you and your families "healthier".

All I want right now is to see The Taupe Hope and His Mope MOVE out of the White House.

  • I refuse to accept my civil servants as my rulers
I resent being treated like a child, any time, for any reason.

I especially resent being treated like a child in regard to basic decisions in life.

I especially, especially resent being treated like a child in regard to the basic decisions in life by the government.

I especially, especially, especially resent being treated like a child in regard to the basic decisions of life by a government run by people I hate to the very core of my guts.

I don't just want these people defeated. I want them so humiliated that they and anyone who thinks like them can never, ever rise again, and dare not speak again due to the shame of who and what they are. Since I know that isn't likely to  happen, I just want them all gone from the face of the earth.

The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

They want to take over food from production to consumption.

They won't be happy until they decide who gets food and who doesn't. I mean that literally. I see where this is going, unless they are checked, hard.

Yah, me too -- right past Venezuela to Cuba.

All the very best dictators do it, I'm told.

Even when FDR rationed food through coupons, people were encouraged to grow gardens.  I don't see that being "allowed" this time, and there are a kabillion regulators of everything to see to it.

In the end people are going to get shot because they tried to regulate an individual's garden and/or confiscate the contents.

With regards to Moochelle, I would suggest to her that the reason so many kids are fat might be related to them having no drive or desire to go out and work the way our parents used to do. Cutting grass, bagging leaves, delivering groceries, bagging those groceries and all sorts of odd jobs that the left frowns upon because they claim it demeans a child to go out and work for money when the government can just give it to them. But then again, I'm a racist who appreciates work ethic no matter what skin shade the individual performing it has. ::thinking::

When they hang this asswipe, I may exclaim, for the first time in my life, I'm proud of my country. ::rolllaughing::

I've already said I had a bit of a daymare not that long ago; "regulators" on my property, one said to the other, "take everything".

When they come for your garden, may they make a lasting contribution to it.

"What's the secret to your gardening success?"

"Regulators."

"Regulators?  What kind of regulators?"

"Composted."
