“It makes me sad that we continue to treat women as a special-interest group,” the vice chairwoman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“They are not single-issue voters. Women care about every issue.
“In the end, the platform, frankly, doesn’t mean much,” Fiorina continued. “The Republican Party has pro-choice Republicans just like the Democratic Party has pro-life Democrats.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who was part of the roundtable discussion, said the Democratic platform on abortion is the most extreme of the two.

“Why isn’t it shocking that the Democrats, on the social issue of abortion, have taken the most extreme position in this country,” Gingrich said. “They couldn’t defend that position for a day if it was made clear and as vivid as all the effort is made to paint Republicans.”

When roundtable guest Thomas Freidman said he is a Planned Parenthood Democrat and supports a woman’s right to choose, Gingrich retorted, “So, you think it’s acceptable to have a party committed to tax-paid abortion in the eighth and ninth month?

"You think that’s a sustainable position in the United States? If the news media spent as much time on the extremism of the Democrats as they spend trying to attack us, they would not be able to adopt that plank this week,” Gingrich added.

How dare Carly refuse to accept her place on the Democrat Plantation!  Doesn't she know the Democrats are smarter than her, better than her, and only concerned for her well being because she is so disadvantaged as a woman?!
