So I'm watching the pre-prime time convention.

Nothing but a freak show.

Right now they are showcasing the President's unlawful enforcement of the "Dream Act" which allows illegals to stay here. There is no way that they can put this on during prime time.

Yes, they had an illegal do a speech. She was, of course, the exception to everything that most illegals represent...high school valedictorian, a double major college graduate at age 20, highly articulate (and grossly over weight but I guess they didn't have too many like this to choose from).

Then they trot out some Univision female talk show host to whine about it, too.

Right now they have the cofounder and former CEO of CarMax speaking...reinforcing the "you didn't build that" theme. What a tool. Now he is droning on about how wonderful BO's "rescue" of the "auto industry" was. What a lying idiot. Then a video about the "auto industry." Which is total bullsh*t. There was nothing wrong with the auto industry. GM and Chrysler had problems of their own making. There were all kinds of auto companies operating in America that were just fine.

...if you can tell anyone "you didn't build that" it is both GM and Chrysler. They do not deserve any credit whatsoever for their so-called turnaround. They have not paid off the "loan" from the taxpayers and have almost no prayer of ever doing so. They screwed bondholders. They screwed auto dealers. And not one word of thanks or one expression of apology for it.

NO. They have not built their recovery. And yet they are busy pounding their chests and thumping the lectern in a fit of self righteousness. Truly sickening.

I will never, ever buy another GM or Chrysler product. Screw them. I can't wait for Detroit to be completely crushed under the weight of these lying morons.

Now she is attacking corporate America. Yeah, that's pro-America at its best. She is all but saying that she's a communist/collectivist.

She has used "rigged" and "rigging" several times in her speech. "Fair share" is a close second.

Optics: This is an angry woman. She looks stern. Chiseled. She sounds shrill. Not a pretty picture. And not a good public speaker.

Yeah, after enduring almost four years of King Putt one may almost be excused for looking at Clinton with something approaching nostalgia.

This is a heck of a sell job. It's like he's standing in a used car lot and doing his best to put the sucker in a clunker.

And, of course, the other big image here is that he is literally prostituting himself. He doesn't believe for a moment that BO is a good president. I have no idea why he is doing this. He must be thinking he is going to get that UN Secretary General nomination that he's always wanted.

This is NOT a good speech. And he isn't delivering it well, either. His voice is cracking. He's stuttering. He's not speaking very clearly...even for him with his stupid accent. The speech is boring. It's not inspiring. And it's, naturally, a lot about him instead of BO.
