Plus, there was no hint about the economy. He has seen the August jobs report and I didn't see any hint about it in his speech. You would think that he would imply something about a hugely positive jobs report.

Well, we've passed another milestone on the road to the election. This convention has felt more like passing a kidney stone, though.

The debates are next.

Actually they aren't. There will be 24 hours per day, every day of campaigning. There will be zillions of dollars of campaign ads...mostly Romney's. There will be current events hitting...some known like the periodic economic reports...some surprises that we can only guess at like maybe a dust up between Israel and Iran. And there will be several more weeks of the mutant poodle woman, DSW.

I can't believe that the Democrats are still trying to say that they have had a positive impact on the economy...that the economy is actually better for their efforts.

Kill Ivan's Goat. The economy improves as long as everyone becomes more equal. The fact that its equally impoverished doesn't matter.  As long as Ivan doesn't have a goat they don't have - things have gotten better.  Stupid f'ing cavemen.

I wouldn't even credit them with the rational faculties of cavemen. These people are purely animalistic in their baseness, their demand for constant gratification.

I always get a laugh out of my dogs at feeding time. They each have their own bowl, filled with the same quantity of the same food, yet nothing is more desirable for them than the contents of the other dog's bowl. So they slink back and forth between bowls, growling as they pass each other. Eventually they will each end up consuming about the same amount of food that was in their own bowl.

That's what Democrats remind me of. It's the only similarity though. My dogs are vastly smarter and more ethical.

I don't watch msnbc so I'm giving it a look tonight just for fun. I braced myself to be sickened by Matthews and his fellow Democrat fanboys. Here's the problem, though...

...this channel is absolutely loaded with ads. There is an ad every five minutes and the ad slots last for three minutes each. This makes msnbc unwatchable. It's horrid for that reason alone.

Matthews now has DSW on. This should be sick.

Besides DSW, how many Democrat members of congress actually went to the convention? Anyone? I don't know. I know that there were a lot who weren't coming but I never heard what the numbers were.
