Romney likes parts of Obamacare

Like the part that makes health insurance no longer insurance, but a right to force your neighbors to pay any medical bills you incur even though you don't pay a dime into the system before then.  He will get rid of the Mandate and keep the requirement to accept pre-existing conditions? He might as well say - I plan to help the Democrats out by destroying the insurance industry under my watch, so they can make a renewed bid for Single Payer  - just like they planned to do from the beginning.  But Now they get to blame it on the GOP!

Like I said, who cares what any of them preach publicly, all are worthy of death. It's us or them, I vote us, role taken. ::effu::

The SOB's just don't get what we're trying to explain to them, we don't want government to do anything other than what the constitution says it can do no matter how much the poor dumb asses clamor for it.

Mitt may not find a receptive Congress if the likes of Cruz et al get in...they'll be much interest in repeal of ObamaCare, any new/replacement program may have a stiffer headwind to tack.  Since a full cleansing of leadership is unlikely though, some crap we have little use for will no doubt get through.

I said a long time ago a Mitt Presidency would not be a cure all, it will be at best a holding action.  Nothing is likely to alter that dynamic...and all the nasty little clocks are still ticking and can set off any number/combination of fan-hitting events.

Political solutions are not Plan A nor is it the only Plan...

It looks like the first battle, after getting the Mittster elected, is shaping up to be getting this POS law repealed at all.

Gawds, I am so damned tired of having to worry about what the government can and will do to me.  Tired.  Sick.  Done.

Every time Romney speaks of obamacare, he usually uses the term "repeal and replace". He did it at the convention.

Let's get it repealed....fight the replacement.

On many issues there's not a lot of difference between them.
Mitt doesn't hate America, too. Does he?

He certainly isn't a real strong Constitutionalist

Yeah, I hate small steps...especially when there is no time left to waste...

We all know that what we are likely to get with Mitt is going to be on par with GW Bush, not RW Reagan...but just about any dart at a phone book would be better than the SCoaMF...it's just that we desperately need something better than a dart and small steps...

Can't get what we want, won't get what we need...good enough is just good enough to buy a little bit of time and that's about it...

Small steps is fine for 8 year old girls playing with radios.  Small steps is how we got here as the Liberal boiled the frog, and used the ratchet effect caused by our side "compromising" - but theirs being relentless.  We don't have the patience to infiltrate and  ratchet the culture back within the institution.
