The Picture That Should Cost Obama His Job
« on: September 16, 2012, 01:39:23 AM »
Instapundit heads the piece “Why Barack Obama Should Resign.”  That’s a good title.  The column might also be titled, “Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid.”

Quote
..... By way of explication, Glenn Reynolds quotes the L.A. Times: “Just after midnight Saturday morning, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Muslim world.”

Got that? The chap made a movie. (He may also have violated probation, but that herring is red, Comrade.) As Glenn observes, “By sending — literally — brownshirted enforcers to engage in — literally — a midnight knock at the door of a man for the non-crime of embarrassing the President of the United States and his administration, President Obama violated that oath. . . . It is a betrayal of his duties as President, and a disgrace.”

Yep. And he should resign. And, as Glenn further observes, he surely won’t.  But the people of the United States, Democrat as well as Republican, should turn him out of office ignominiously in November.

No.  More is required.  And right. the hell. NOW.

Another article said that after the interview
the officers took him and let him out at an
undisclosed location and that he would not
be returning home.

Disappeared, not to be seen again.

Since my very existence insults muslims......shouldn't I be rounded up and questioned too?

This is unbelievable. Do anything to insult a muslim, you will be rounded up, charged with something and go to jail. If you insult a Christian, you are given a platform at the DNC convention.

I guess we should call this being fluked.

Glad I don't fit into that category. ::unknowncomic::

Mark Levin says that when he saw that photo of the filmmaker being dragged in for questioning by the police, that changed everything. He says we don’t tolerate fascist tactics in America and that if we reelect Obama that we can be sure that the next four years are going to look like that photo.

Every time I see that picture, my eyes are immediately drawn to the camera being held over someone's head in the background. It has a cable dangling from it that looks every bit like a noose to me. It just cements the image as a modern day lynching.

Oh, and since when do local Sheriff outfits accept orders from faceless Feds to roust citizens?

More troubling indications that all too many LEOs are just too damn comfortable doing Statists dirty work.

If I were the Sheriff, I'd tell the fraking Feds to do their own damn dirty work!

But, that didn't happen...

Because all the state and local agencies are dependent on "grants" from the feds. Most of them even have these grants factored into their annual budgets. It's just a different form of dependency, and once hooked they will do Leviathan's bidding forever.

We are in serious trouble. Bad things are coming.

Most Local LEOs have to live and work locally.  You get into a rural location and most officers have enough sense not to sh*t where they eat.  They won't do the leviathans bidding anywhere where they know that will make them a legitimate target in the eyes of those whom they serve.  A paycheck isn't worth anything if you are bleeding out and not one person in town will help you.

That reminds me of what happened to that town bully in Missouri.
Nobody, not even his wife, witnessed how it happened.

He made sure you didn't see this one:

Elitist Obama Bans Photos of Champagne Towers at Lavish Fundraiser

The 350-bottle champagne tower — designed by Jeffrey Beers — is a monument to Jay-Z’s favorite bubbly, Armand de Brignac, which is known colloquially by rappers, clubgoers and connoisseurs as Ace of Spades because of its gold-spade label.

“It’s floor-to-ceiling gold bottles in the entire space. It’s beautiful — breathtaking,” a rep for the Flatiron District hot spot told The Post. “It’s the first thing you see when you walk in.”

At least they are not drinking the koolaid? I mean, we know it isn't koolaid. It's Armand de Brignac. It's the 1% ers holding a party while belittling Romney over the 47%. I bet it was more than 3 bucks to attend this function.
