Oh, and BTW, Turkey got into NATO because that is where we wanted to park the Nike missiles and because we wanted the air base rights at Incirlik.  Onec the Cold War ended we should have withdrawn assets from Turkey and disbanded NATO since Europe can defend itself.  See what happens when common sense gets flushed?

One possible salvation for your troops, is for them to be aligned with Druze units in the Jordanian side of the border.  They are almost decent Muslims, which would be best likened to rednecks or Alberta farmers.  They really hate the nutbar Islamist..
