The following video is actually a religious one, but it is also a cultural one and thats why I want it in this section and not in the religion section, because I am posting it for cultural and not religious purposes. I highly recommend everybody watch it, because what it says about what is happening in the Church it also says about what is happening in America and in our culture. A must watch!!

I have noticed this in music and TV shows. Look at shows like the Big Bang Theory for example: Those guys aren't men, they are wussies.

Same for music. I use to like listening to Sammy Hagar or Ted Nugent or David Lee Roth (although Roth acted a little girly sometimes, but he sure didn't sound girly). But today a lot of singers have that girly sort of falsetto voice that is so wussified.

And at the top of this video, the guy nailed it: Politicians are afraid to seem confrontational. But why? They used to have pistol duels for Pete's sake. Hell, I'd like to see Romney just beat the hell out Obama rather than talk to him.

You know, not to change subjects, but this is also why this whole bullying thing is so big these days. Bullying is not the problem - there have always been bullies. The real problem is that people are being wussified, and now they can't take a little bullying.

The Wussification  is deliberate.  Boys are not allowed to act like boys-  war using your hands to form a "gun" - you can't play that! Don't draw a gun  or a battle scene either.  My buddies and I used to do both in class. Now we would be sent to the principal and given ADD drugs.  They do nothing about the bullies because they WANT you to accept being bullied by the left later. They only punish resistance. Feminism tells girls to desire the wussy guys-  they don't really, but they are told they need a man who is willing to let them do whatever they want, when ever they want.  I was ready and wanting  to Marry early -  I didn't find Michelle till I was 28 because I couldn't find a woman willing to be in a partnership (because in a partnership you have obligations that might interfere  with  you career or other goals!)  I have friends who gave up on Secular American Women altogether and started looking overseas. In Russia women are interested in any man who earns a good income and won't be inclined to get drunk and beat them . add to that the divorce  laws that make a Marriage agreement almost useless and its no wonder the "good men" are just giving up.  Hence you get a population where only the wussies are procreating ( when famileis are formed at all)  and the Marriages self destructs as inevitably, some real man comes along and the woman ( she can't help herself!)  is attracted to that chauvinist, strong protective jerk.

They have infiltrated and destroyed the Churches, turning them into Social Justice centers. They destroyed the schools and colleges, making them leftist madrassas, and they have destroyed families by working to make Men and women enemies, and perverting their essential natures.  And I am sorry ladies, as a group you DO make irrational and emotional  decisions, and yes we youd be better off if that group had never been given the opportunity to vote. There are lots of Julias out there, who would prefer to have the Government be their husband.

Weird. I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. If women did not vote, Republicans would rule the government.

But on the other hand, when you think of the great Republican women there are, governors and congresswomen and so forth, thats not really fair. Its sort of like black people: You think of how 99% of them vote for Obama and you figure they are all brainwashed, but then you listen to a guy like Alan West, or hear Condi Rice's speech at the convention, and you know its not totally true.

But I digress off the topic.

I don't know, CC.  Yes, there are great Republican women and admirable Black folk, but because of the way the Left has dismantled and reconstructed our society, almost each and every one chosen with a secondary eye toward "identity politics" (and I've been doing my darndest to discourage people on the Right from doing this very thing) at times "reverts to type".

Even the Republican women "come out" in favor of "women's issues", whatever the hell they are, and even Black Republicans sometimes forget they're not Black first before being American.  Allen West did it with the Zimmerman-Martin case and Rice is in favor of Affirmative Action.

Or .... maybe I'm just too cynical, but I see this as adding to the wussification of the American male.  There is really no champion, nor few role models, today for the White, hetero, Christian male.

See I wouldn't bar women from office.  Certain Individual women  can make excellent leaders, and men will vote for them, just as it was predominantly men who voted to give women the right to vote in every state.  Many Western States had granted women that right from the inception - but then if you think of the sort of woman who was willing to get on a wagon train and live that life, you can bet it wasn't the emotional irrational kind. (or if it was, they didn't last long on the frontier)
Its entirely not fair to the rational woman to disallow her vote, but because we have no way of sorting them,  I don't see another way around it.

Wealth is what allows such impracticality and stupidity to prosper.  That will soon go away and the problem will be solved.

The video is spot-on. It brings to mind Glock's oft repeated lament of how the "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave" is all but a relic of the past.

Our freedom was a direct result of confrontation - a demand that our God-given rights be recognized. And our bravery was manifest in the willingness to take that confrontation to its necessary conclusion.

Now we face tyranny no less egregious, and in some ways more so. Yet where is our willingness to confront tyranny to the degree necessary to overcome it? It is drowning in creature-comfort, envy, video games, pants belted below the buttocks, metrosexuality, multiculturalism, rewritten history, rejection of personal adulthood, pseudo-intellectualism, and a myriad of other diseases that emanate from liberal culture.

Men and manhood are a casualty of the Left. It will require the retaliation of men to stop it.

women who start crying because they have to go back to work after having a baby even though they long to stay home because their husbands don't want to live on less, or get a different job or a second job

men who've allowed or encouraged their wives to become their mothers instead of wives to them (mommy protects--wives need protection)

mothers who encourage their sons to take up activities normally reserved for girls--ballet, yoga, etc

This trend makes it hard on women like my daughters who want a man for a partner not another "girlfriend"

I listened to Dr. Laura Schlessinger for a long time.  She had much to say about men -- none good -- in your first example.  To the women dealing with it, she advised them to firmly but gently inform their husbands that, as mothers, they would be assuming the care of their child as a full-time occupation and they would just have to deal.

These are the sort of things that used to be assumed and now need to be discussed and agreed upon ahead of time.

I expect that the many women who see no problem with parking their newborn in "daycare" and vocally frown upon stay-at-home-mothers support other husbands in insisting their own wives park and earn, so it's a matter of fighting the battle on two fronts.

Need to raise boys with the goal in mind of transforming them into individually self-sufficient men capable of facing any and all challenges and if some of that means knocking a bully on his ass, so be it.  If it means calling out educators and others on the spot when they threaten this, so be it.  Whatever it takes.
