Thanks for the assist, Bill Clinton
« on: October 18, 2012, 02:02:49 PM »
"Governor Romney's argument is, we're not fixed, so fire him and put me in," said Clinton. "It is true we're not fixed. When President Obama looked into the eyes of that man who said in the debate, 'I had so much hope four years ago and I don't now', I thought he [Obama] was going to cry. Because he knows that it's not fixed."
[blockquote]-Bill Clinton[/blockquote]

UPDATE: A Romney spokesman comments: "We agree with former President Bill Clinton.  The economy has not been fixed under President Barack Obama.  Today, more than 23 million Americans are struggling for work, poverty has increased and food stamps are at record levels.  Mitt Romney believes we can do better by creating 12 million new jobs with higher take-home pay, cutting spending to put our nation on course for a balanced budget, and actually fixing our economy."

Bill Clinton: Romney's Argument Is True, Obama Hasn't Fixed Country
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

He *may* have looked like he was going to cry only because he knew right then his sentence "when I WAS President" was a prophecy.

I'd hat-tip Clinton if he wasn't a despicable POS himself.

OK so what's the punchline?

Was this the knife-turning moment that we were expecting or did he follow up with a "but he's a really wonderful guy"?

I'm sitting here holding my breath that the rest of klintoon's address was like the excerpt. If it was then roll up the tents because the party's over!

Not only is the economy not fixed, it's going ass-Barrackward!
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

I question the timing!

Funny how Clinton (figuratively) shoves the shiv in Barry's gut a few days after Hillary takes the fall for the Benghazi fiasco. I can see Barry's wide eyes staring at Clinton as he says . . .

Et tu', BillyBob?
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
