Should we elect more conservatives than just GOP Senators?

I would support him if enough others do.

Should we elect more conservatives than just GOP Senators?

So, Akin was abandoned and scorned by the national party after a single gaffe.  The idea is if enough conservatives will support him and he gets elected ANYWAY, he owes NOTHING to national leadership. That means one more vote for us. Can we support him and to what degree?
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

When Akin made his stupid comment it shone a light on his deficiencies as a candidate in the national spotlight. I advocated him dropping out of the race while there was still time and opportunity to replace him with another acceptable candidate. he didn't leave.

Now, as is so often the case in politics, there are only two choices: Akin or Claire McCaskill.

I find the retention in the Senate of Claire McCaskill to be completely unacceptable. She was one of the more cynical, high-profile Leftists who force-fed the entire country a piece of legislation that no majority anywhere wanted - particularly in Missouri.

So I support Todd Akin.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I hope the fine folks in MO share your sentiment.

One is a poor candidate, the other is a complete disaster, as choices go there is no choice, good, bad, or indifferent...Akin or bust.  But to the point made by Alan, it is up to MO, and that state is too squishy to predict an outcome, IIRC St.Louis is always one of those places where we always see nefarious efforts by libiots in Presidential election years, so both the POTUS and Senate races could be schizophrenic in outcomes.

As an urban environment, St. Louis itself is very lib along with E. St. Louis across the river. It's been a loooong time since I've been there, but I hear E. St. Louis is like a war zone now.

Oh, so like DC, Chicago & Detroit...hmm, what do they all have in common?  Oh that's right, libiot masters, huh, maybe a few more billion to eacj for Obamaphones will improve things, yeah, that's the ticket!

Yeah, this has all the makings of a fine finish, eh?!  Haven't been paying mucg attention to MO but even RCP has to admit that race is a toss up now, and I would think even a moron could see the gold nugget that this story is and blaze it across the airwaves from now till election day!
