‘Reporter’ Overheard at Romney Event: There’s a ’40% chance that he says something stupid’; Update: Was a BuzzFeed Jerk

Mitt Romney holds an event to help with storm relief and this is the crap he gets.

At least one reporter has low expectations for Mitt Romney’s performance at a storm relief collection event in Ohio today, as a live stream ahead of the event revealed.

“Reporters overheard on [P]olitico live stream speculating before Romney event that there is “a 40% chance that he says something stupid,” The Huffington Post’s Jon Ward tweeted.

This isn’t the first time that media figures have been overheard showing contempt for Romney. “They are happy to have a party with black people drowning,” Yahoo News’ Washington bureau chief David Chalian was overheard saying, in the context of the Republican National Convention taking place as a tropical storm brewed. The remark cost him his job.

These are not reporters. They’re DNC operatives with keyboards.

Update: We were going to surmise it was some clown from BuzzFeed earlier. Turns out our hunch was correct.

These people cannot go away fast enough.

We are coming to a climax, whether it's a resolution
or an initiation is the question.

Is Romney using "storm relief" to do "stealth" campaigning?  They're betting he is, because these are the cynical, projecting sonsabtches they are.  Can I say he isn't?  Er, newp, but Romney has a better rep than they do.

What do we do with the Fifth Column, boys and girls?

On 29 April 1945, the bodies of Mussolini, Petacci, and the other executed Fascists were loaded into a moving van and trucked south to Milan. There, at 3:00 am, they were dumped on the ground in the old Piazza Loreto. After being shot, kicked, and spat upon, the bodies were hung upside down on meathooks from the roof of an Esso gas station. The bodies were then stoned by civilians from below. The corpse of the deposed leader became subject to ridicule and abuse.

Activate the New Sons of Liberty network.  I've had it with these Fifth Columnists.
