Nice selection.  I've ordered from ATG many times before. Other vendors in my "rotation" are:

Widener's -- www.wideners.com

Natchez -- www.natchezss.com

SG Ammo -- www.sgammo.com

You left out the incendiary rounds.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I've gotten parts from Natchez before, but not ammo, the other two outfits I haven't seen before, I'll check them out.

If I owned something in 5.56, I would definitely be sampling some of this: http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=100001056

Danish issue, NATO certified.

Continuing my contrarian mood: What is so attractive about a mechanically complex and environmentally sensitive high velocity .22?

Dunno, but a lot of folks love 'em. Don't own one myself. I prefer a little larger calibers....

Could you elaborate on that a bit?

Range velocity and lethality over an average .22 is the only things I can think of. But it doesn't have to be an AR platform I'm sure there are cheaper platforms out there. But the ammo is probably the most common thing out there and the prices aren't bad either.

Not sure what is complex, ARs seem a pretty basic and reliable platform...and not sure about the ennviro-sensitive issue is, lead?

Anyway, like JF pointed out for my first AR I wanted something with common ammo, if the SHTF sooner rather than later I wanted something that shot an easily obtained/bartered caliber.  Getting a larger caliber system costs more in an AR platform, which I guess why many go the AK route.  And I did get a piston system which is cleaner running.  For general zombie suppression it is sufficient, if I want more knock down power there is the 30-30 and the 12g's pumping out buckshot and slugs.

Thanks for the additional links guys.
