I'm done

Really. So where will you go, to some rinky-dink candidate who only ensures that the democrat will actually win?

You guys are all thinking with your glands and not with your heads.

You have to start learning to think beyond politics.  At best politics is a sideshow now that the GOP has chosen to morph into dem's at a greater pace.  What happened to the Whigs will, not might, will happen to the GOP.  In terms of personal prioritization, politics should rate at the bottom, or very near it.

LadyVirgina linked to what I've called here, "the hometown rag" (because I used to deliver it back when children could actually be employed at such things.)  It detailed Iowa "Republicans" banding together to insure that sugar daddy kept delivering for the wind industry.  $1 billion per year.  What does our grand children's $1 billion buy?  500 jobs at Cedar Rapids and Fort Madison.  Then there's the whole Gasohol Industrial Complex that sends a thrill down every Republican's leg.

Nope.  No more.  Done.  Never again.  Not my party, and frankly not my country anymore.

Too long to type but if you look it up for the 2010 run in N.Y. 23rd it should be interesting to you.

thanks for the wackypedia link.

Scozafava was a classic case of the party "giving" us our candidate and then positioning itself against the wishes of the rank & file constituents. The answer to the question is: in the primary I wouldn't support her because she was too liberal. If she prevailed (preferably not by having the GOP drag her carcass across the finish line!) then yea I would support her in the general.

Then there's the case of Joe Miller vs. Lisa Murkowski.  Miller won the primary, but Princess Lisa decided to run in the general election as a write-in candidate. Furthermore, Miller received no assistance from the NRSC or other party organizations, even though he was the duly chosen candidate by the party's voters.

Nope. They've screwed over conservatives one too many times now. They will never recover from 2012.

And stabbing other Tea Party candidates in the back, calling them stupid etc etc...

The E-GOP made their bed, now they can die in it.
