Learning from the Election
« on: November 27, 2012, 07:44:18 PM »

A final take on the election: Mitt Romney was a glittering Sir Galahad who, given his impressive horse, armor, and lance, along with his decency and piety, assumed that he could win a joust in a fair charge against the other team’s knight. Instead he waded into a sudden fray where he was swarmed, mobbed, cut off, pulled off his magnificent steed, had his matchless armor yanked away by a mob of foot soldiers, and then, once stripped clean, was clubbed and maced beyond recognition.

Yeah OK, not buying that closing statement, it makes Romney appear to be a victim of forces beyond his control when in fact  he was part of the faction controlling the GOP. I don't feel sorry for him, we are the ones who got screwed from the get go!
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Yeah, as to the said paragraph; however, it did enumerate the Democrat Renfelds accurately:

swarmed,
mobbed,
cut off,
pulled off
yanked away
mob of foot soldiers
clubbed
maced beyond recognition.

They'll do it everytime they get a chance.

As a whole the article was insightful.

They only get away with what we let them get away with and the GOP has been more than charitable toward those...Renfleds!
