Lord Monckton evicted from UN, talk about a badge of honor!
« on: December 06, 2012, 09:06:50 PM »
"In the 16 years we have been coming to these conferences, there has been no global warming," Monckton said as confused murmurs filled the hall and then turned into a chorus of boos.

Then he got the Boner/Pelosi treatment -

Monckton was escorted from the hall and security officers stripped him of his U.N. credentials

Thanks for making those idiots reveal themselves Christopher!

We need out of the UN so badly. They don't even try to hide the thuggery anymore. Sort of like the way that MSNBC doesn't bother hiding their liberalism anymore.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I fear I won't see those rabid dogs tossed out in my lifetime...   ::bashing::

ETA - It was a former Republican Governor (Harold Stassen) from Minnesota who was instrumental in getting that ridiculous outfit set up.  ::facepalm::

On behalf of all non brain-dead Minnesotan's and non progressive Republicans past or present, I apologize for that.

Can't blame the man for that unless he knew 100% what the UN was going to be. The propaganda was nice and vague enough to portray the body as a place to talk never mentioning the implications of behind the scenes treatise and such from non electable representation the majority of from dictatorial states.
Remember, four boxes keep us free:
The soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.

True, but most populist politicians were naive enough to equate sitting and talking with peace and understanding, and I think many knew at the time it could give political cover at home - the old "we tried, they didn't listen, this is what we have to do now"  yadda yadda.  The progressives in democrat & republican circles may not have known at the time how badly this body would be used, but I cannot believe they were oblivious to the political machinations that would take place, it is a political body after all.  The UN is truly the epitome of the "we have to be seen to be doing something" mindset I have come to loath!  And now it is nothing but a piss on the US at every avenue members only club and you know you are screwed when The Regime is in lockstep with that program!
