OOPS! Almost accidently heard the One's speech
« on: March 28, 2011, 06:43:14 PM »
Realized the prez voice was floating out of my computer from the radio station I'm streaming. meh.  I let someone else listen -- I just ate.

I know I'm terrible. Going to let some right wing conservative tell me what to think. LOL

Nope. Just have to read what Matthews, et al say and that's all I need to know.

I'm to the point where I have a visceral reaction to his face and voice. I know it's important to know what the enemy says and does, I'd just prefer to hear about it second hand than to put up with his smug arrogance, his obvious contempt, his head wagging back and forth between the L/R teleprompters, and his sibilant "S".
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

When I see that man's face it pains me to know he'll forever be in the history books as prez.  But at least we had Reagan.  And George Bush --though I wasn't happy with a lot he did -- it gives me great pleasure to know how the left still hasn't gotten over his win -- twice. hehehe

...my youngest watches Disney channel (heh, I know I'm not perfect) and she changes the channel when the Mrs. the One comes on to tell her to eat her veggies. hehehe  (I can tell you we eat healthier than that woman).

As Levin noted, a lot more of his characteristic "I ordered", "my", "I decided", blah blah. Yes, we know you're the President. God how we know.

Bolton on Napolitano's show just used the word trivial.
