Two people injured in accidental shooting at Raleigh gun show
« on: January 19, 2013, 02:59:36 PM »
A witness told WRAL that a gun went off after being checked by an official at a safety check-in location, hitting a man in the hand and a woman in the side.

Who wants to wager the "official" performing the "safety check" was an off-duty LEO?

The guns for sale are zip-tied, and the carry-ins are done as well as check-in.  I usually unload in the truck, put the rounds in my pocket, let 'em zip-tie, and then reload once in the venue.  And I carry a scissor/knife to deal with their damn zip-tie if I need to.

Why did they shut down the show?

Because they're friggin weenies, that's why.  And no "private sales" will be permitted, although "they" are not sure if this will be a permanent prohibition.

How very conveeeeenient, when "the gunshow loophole" is what they've been whinging about.

Check this:

"Visitors are supposed to allow security officials to check in weapons, Keith said, but Wilson removed the gun from its case before personnel had a chance to handle it. The shotgun was laying flat on a table by the entry door when it discharged."

See, all by itself, jes' a-layin' flat onna table.

My guns do that, too, in the gunsafe, all by themselves.  Makes a friggin mess in there, it does.

Gunsmith said this was going to go national, for the propaganda value.  Who's taking bets on whether or not Obongo mentions it during the State of the Union address?

Yep, I notices that too.  It was probably some anti-gun nut - specially brought a loaded, rigged the gun to go off as "proof" these dangerous, un-inspected  weapons shouldn't be allowed to be transferred. It just screams false flag- especially since gun shows  and the people who attend them tend to be on the stupidly safe side.

False flag. As has been said, either the person who brought the gun is an anti-gunner on a mission to place gunshows in the crosshairs (seewhatIdidthere), or the person who checked the gun in did it. No accident.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

We have thousands of gun shows every year in this country, for a century, and guns are not simply "going off". My default position right now is that any such event is a false flag unless I see evidence otherwise. It's always just a little to convenient that this stuff is timed just right and occurs in a manner just perfect for the current narrative.

Yeah, my bullsh*t-detector is flashing red, only the libiot brain thinks guns go off all by themselves, this stinks on ice!

"Accidents" at three different locations

Three?  When is the last time we heard of *one*?

  —  If the gun advocates behind this year's inaugural Gun Appreciation Day had hoped to use the day's festivities to build support for their anti-regulation platform, they are going to have to wait another year.

A 29 year old woman with her infant child was stabbed in the chest in the middle of a Bed, Bath, & Beyond store in New Jersey by a total stranger. I've only seen this mentioned in the British press.

I guess it's a good thing there was nobody in the store packing heat, otherwise somebody could have gotten hurt.  ::)

Three?  When is the last time we heard of *one*?

They no longer care if its obvious to us that these are staged. Its about the perception of the sheep at this point, and they are way easier to fool.

Staged or just make sh*t up, either way nothing will stop the Democrat-Media Complex from spewing their BS far and wide, silly notions of truth and facts are just things for a Leftist to manipulate, they are evil and will do and say anything to impose their tyranny on every soul that breathes.

Already did.  I saw it as a number one headline on Yahoo.

Of course.  THAT isn't news.  Neither is the terror inflicted on Pennsylvania NEA types by this terroristic 5 year old.

I showed this to my wife.  She responded that they would have to pry her Hello Kitty swag from her cold dead fingers.   ::thinking::
