Wow. My pastor once said, "Never doubt in the darkness what God has shown you in the light." In other words, when one believes that God has revealed something to them, time and worldly concerns will try to foster doubt until you question whether the revelation was ever really from God at all. Even when we have certainty of God's hand in the days, weeks, months or even years after He touches us in a way that is so obvious, time threatens to dull that certainty.

I pray that this family remains steadfast, and that their knowledge of God's hand does not fade to faith, and then to questioning, and then to doubt.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Pretty cool.

We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

On MSM even (local though it is)!  The best, though, is for the young lady and her family!  May the knowledge of God's love continue to sustain and comfort them.
I'm entitled (to be cranky).

When I saw it, the first thing I thought was that it's sunlight streaming in through a window of a room. I understand those conditions would be recreated for several days in a row, during a specific time of year, so, being the Doubting Thomas I am, I would want to know about the layout of the buildings across teh street, how long has this hospital been in business, etc.? If conditions are right, then a shaft of light might only be seen on one day a  year at a specific time, like the ruins at Newgrange in Ireland. It was built so that a sunbeam would pass down a very long shaft  and illuminate a room deep inside...on one day a year for a brief period of time. The engineering and construction were impressive, given teh age, but I'm not saying this image on TV was teh result of intentional human effort.
As far as her recovery, I do believe, absolutely, the mind has enormous influence over the body, as in with placebos, and can do incredible, and yes, miraculous things. I don't know how...sentient this girl is and if she understood what it is she believed she saw. Not enough info in teh 2 min clip.
Only thing I do know for sure, though, is that I don't know for sure. I just don't have the Faith in it all, as y'all do.

Sometimes you just have to believe in miracles.
