In Tennessee it is reported gas will hit 3.75 gallon this summer.

The obamas must be giddy.

Now up to 95.39.

Many places will be near $4/gal if this keeps up.  The slow economy has largely kept demand in check, but the summer travel season will change that.

Not lookin' good at all.

Everytime Obummer opens his trap on foreign events things go swirling around the drain faster!

Hope everyone is reminded what an utter dismal POS clown this jerk is each time they fill the tank!

Better yet, fill a bottle, add a rag, and with lighter in the other hand take to the streets in celebration of Obamanomics!

Wasn't Obama supposed to be paying our mortgages and putting gas in our cars? And that he was going to pay for it from "his stash"?

Thinking about this sort of thing, the more I am annoyed with Obama voters seeking contrition. "I didn't know he was going to turn out like this!" Really? I sure did. So did everyone else whose mind is not governed by sentimentalist pap. He telegraphed his intent to anyone willing to listen. Morons.

Oil markets despise uncertainty, but don't we all?  But oil is the life-blood of the modern age, without it we devolve into a new Dark Age.  And if oil traders fear one thing, it is political unrest in dictator-led nations sitting atop oil fields.  When these people go apenuts, they tend to burn things, and oil and oil refineries tend to not get along with fire.  And the actions of Obama are such that he might as well be tossing Molotov Cocktails with the rest of the crazies.

Light sweet crude is only six cents away from breaking the $96 mark, I expect the continued bad news to push it over.  I have a feeling the stock market is going to shed some weight too, but we'll see if the consumer confidence numbers continue to show modest gains to offset that or if it contributes to the decline.

...expecting easing after Libya settles down, but with the politics of North Africa and the Middle East in play...the term "settling down" takes on a less permanent connotation!

This is precisely why we need more dependence on oil so we can pay more money to the oil companies. ::puke::

Obamakov, the destroyer of worlds. Here' s a nice view as to why this asshat is AWOL when it comes to Libya.

Again , we have the most ignorant population amongst the nations. They have the freedom to vote, apparently without giving thought to the consequences. ::cussing::

Wholesale gas over $3 today. What's that mean in the real world?  Well, for those of us in the Twin Cities, this week's coordinated SuperAmerica/Holiday/BP gouge mark will probably be $3.799.

Cheapest I've found is in the mid $3's, and that won't last long the way this is going...

Paid $3.35 yesterday.  $46 and change for a half-tank to full up.

Priced Camry's today, they are selling about 2K more than they were at Christmas. Baseline Taurus and Honda and Jetta hatchback are more expensive, however I was not pricing them Christmas.
