She has expressed a preference for a revolver. . . but then again she has only been with me and she is indescisive.

If there was one thing I think I don't know enough about its guns.  Not bad shot, though.

I'll see what she thinks, I appreciate the help!

Ruger makes the LCR in .357, .38 spl & now .22 LR, I think she could handle the .38 fairly easily, check out the S&W line too, lots of options from .22 on up.

The S&W 638 is nice for a woman, or a man for that matter.  It has a shielded hammer so its basically double action.  Pretty much foolproof which makes it pretty safe as well.  I'm impressed with it and similar models.
I'm entitled (to be cranky).

Too far for me to go,over 2 1/2 hour drive each way,but they are opening one within 5 miles from the house being built as we speak. Can't wait.

They shipped mine 250 rds .45 acp. I think it was $14 that is if you need it.

Try this fellow out... The more you buy the cheaper it gets. He's not likely to kill you on shipping.

I finally found a place online that claims to have case lots of .223 for sale.

It's not cheap but it's not out of sight, either. And the shipping is included in the price of the ammo.

Here is the link.

If you are desperate for AR magazines they supposedly have those in stock, as well, but they are very pricey.

Crappy Russian 7.62 case lots at mediocre pricing but if you need them (and if they aren't lying about having them in stock) then this is a solution.

Yeah prices are insane. But I prefer high prices to zero availability. That's why I have to roll my eyes when people complain about "gouging". Price is how we mediate supply to demand. And there's no way in hell I would pay hundreds for a 440 round spam can of 7.62x54R, not when the going rate prior to this latest rush was about $70.

Screw the Fed's, I think Mfg's should stipulate any sales to Fed's need to be accompanied by a pledge that NO government employee may criticize Mfg's of ammo or guns, they refuse to sign or comply - they are cut off!

Take balls, but I would love to see it.
