"Scottish Cardinal Keith O’Brien, who resigned last week after admitting to inappropriate sexual misconduct."

Timely resignation, eh?  I hope and I'm gonna' pray that they use this occasion to decide to and elect a Pope who will clean house of this "inappropriate" behavior within the Church.  Maybe they will also elect to dissallow the CINOs aka. Kerry, Pelosi and their kind communion.

I heard another case was settled out in LA, another $10m in tithes redirected to victims.

In other news, I guess the conclave has sent black smoke up the chute twice now.

It will be interesting if we see white smoke on the 13th (at least it isn't Friday, right?), the 14th (Pi Day 3.1415926535) or the 15th (The Ides of March)?

Rush mentioned at the top of his show that if an American is made Pope it is a sign that we have declined in world status...   ::facepalm::

I think he's on to something.

America in decline is "winning" in libiot minds...

I think that's a very astute observation. It would be unthinkable for them to pick an American when we were at our peak and confident about who and what we are. They've always had daggers out for us when we're doing well. For them to consider an American is an acknowledgment that we are being sufficiently brought down to size.

The American moment is over. We could have been colonizing space by now, but instead we wasted trillions and trillions on an unwinnable "war on poverty". Now we're just another hand wringing, navel gazing has-been. Another civilization rotted out from the inside by the cultural virus of Leftism.

Yeah.

I remember on old Sci-Fi flick, people fleeing the earth in a rocket ship they built (I think they might have been going to Venus or Mars or something, back then they thought such bodies could sustain life)...

Ohh to have that option...

Oh well, here's to the bitter end.   ::beertoast::

Well, he did have to go back to the hotel and get his stuff in person.  He wasn't about to let his people do it for him.

Ann B., is bent out of shape.

Ann B. is always bent out of shape on religious matters. I have seen her comments on Jesuits before, so when I heard this new pope is a member of the Jesuit Order I knew she'd have a lengthy missive about how much he sucks.

Should be interesting watching her reconcile it with her belief in papal infallibility.

Ann B., is bent out of shape.

I read that, too, CO, and I can't say I blame her if even half of what she says about the new Pope is true.

AP, it wasn't we who couldn't get along with 'Crusader -- God knows, we tried -- he couldn't get along with us.

He was just misunderstood and "you guys" abused him  ::)

If a little more patience would have been shown, think of how much more abuse we could have heaped on him.
