Lego is Fun
« on: February 11, 2013, 11:33:45 PM »
Stop looking at the politics. Look at fun things to build with LEGO

I was really tempted once by the 3 foot Millennium Falcon set they had  ($500 - and where would I put it?)  but this, this I  would have to buy..

This would be less tempting, but still..

Lots of other cool stuff at the link..

I would like to know what the scale is on the Firefly.

Oh, and you left out the best one...

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

Weisshaupt, that's from Monty python, opening scene of meaning of life, right?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist

The building is Weisshaupt's TEOTWAWKI house.  The advanced solar array on the left side is the giveaway.

Yep. The Crimson Permanent Assurance Company.  They actually attack in the middle of the film during the board meeting where its asserted "people aren't wearing enough hats"
