Jews, which hold this Kotel, Western Wall of their old temple sacred, are being told to shove off by the Muslims.

An Israeli Arab group, “The Al-Aqsa Heritage Institute,” on Thursday issued a statement demanding that Israel halt its plans to bring more Jews to the Kotel (Western Wall) – which, the group claims, is holy not to Jews, but to Muslims.

In fact, the group says, Israel is “defiling the holiness of the site” by conducting Jewish prayers there.

In Jewish tradition, the Kotel is the outer retaining wall of the Holy Temple, which stood on the Temple Mount, approximately at the same location as the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Such plans endanger Al-Aqsa by making it a target for direct Israeli occupation,” the statement said. “The Al-Buraq Wall along with the entire area around Al-Aqsa, including the Mugrabi neighborhood (the term used by the group for the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem), destroyed in 1967, is holy Muslim land, and an inseparable part of the Al-Aqsa property,” the statement added.

I was at the Mall of America yesterday treating my children, my son's girlfriends, and my daughter's playmates to the amusement park at Nicelodeon World. As some of the kids were waiting for the others to come down the water flume, down the final chute comes three female 'slims in full head-gear; laughing, screaming, having a gay 'ol time just like everyone else.

In a moment of brazen political incorrectness, loud enough for people gathered around to hear I said, "Jeez, I didn't know Muslims were allowed to have so much fun. Those poor women better hope their Imam doesn't find out, or they might get stoned."

I heard a few laughs and garnered a few nasty looks. One guy said, "They aren't allowed to get stoned either," to a few more chuckles and nasty looks from bystanders.

Lines are being drawn everywhere one looks these days.
