And, although he's not a pol, Grover Norquist is even more dangerous, as he has turned CPAC into an islamic love-fest. His tax stance and pledges gain him no ground with me. He's a moslem.

I am not very impressed with Rubio.  He strikes me as just another politician.  I think we have enough "conservatives" to tell us why it makes sense to cave to all the leftist plans.  I don't know of any actual accomplishments he can point to, other than speeches which cause some people to think that qualifies him to be the next President.  I guess we'll see what he does over the next few years.

I don't know much about Grover Norquist, but he is married to a Palestinian woman.  The article says he pressured Bush to hire a bunch of muslim radicals, some of whom ended up in prison, so I question his motives and his loyalty to this country.

I think everything is now proceeding on a preordained trajectory. Political conservatism as it has existed for the past century is now rapidly dying off. We give them political power, only to have them attack us with as much as zeal as the Left. Avenue after avenue is closed to us.

I believe this is because the existing order is meant to collapse, because no correction can occur so long as the vile beast draws a breath. So we are stymied in our political efforts because we must be. We are past the point of half measures. To paraphrase, the only road to victory runs through Berlin.
