thing in common, extreme bigotry.

I'm not afraid to talk about race . Forty years ago , I made every reasonable effort to be accomodating to blacks . They , in turn , by and large , made every effort to make me hate and resent them . There are black people whom I like and then there are negroes whom I despise . That's just the way it is .

I know that hind sight is 20/20 but ... there should have been a general agreement four hundred years ago among the european nations to leave the lights off in "Darkest Africa" .
