China's Naval Threat
« on: March 11, 2013, 10:51:48 PM »

Brits selling in China again?  Another pipe dream?  Well with a threat like this
those ten boats Japan sold to the Philippines are nothing.  Then again, those
ten vessels are real.

(LONDON ) - Calling it a quantum leap above anything the USA has even on the drawing board, experts agree that the Chinese government thought 'outside the box' with this new design.

The new aircraft carrier offers more speed, larger capacity, increased stability.

It is absolutely a true 'blue water' long range vessel with what appears to be an endless list of advantages and capabilities.

According to what we are learning, the new carriers can service their nuke and sub fleet in between the twin hulls and it is also reported that they can easily launch... [moon rockets?]

Do you smoke Salem?  No, I sail 'em.

Yeah it's real easy to boast about hypotheticals. This is basically China asserting that its dad can beat up our dad. Our carrier fleet, every design and operational detail, were honed over multiple generations of air dominance at sea. If they think slapping a big deck on top of a catamaran is going to somehow undo all of that with one fell swoop, let them think it.

We should encourage them to build it, it would eat up time and money they could spend elsewhere, all we have to do is announce that if it is built our naval dominance in the Pacific could be rendered moot.

Since it can be seen from the moon it shouldn't be very hard to follow either.

I like it!
