I believe with every fiber of my being that the man in the White House is a Marxist usurper, elected to office under false pretenses, aided and abetted by a Democrat party hungry for power and permanency, and a media so desirous of ushering in liberal government that they have propelled an enemy of the United States into the office of the Presidency. The evidence leads nowhere else, according to any parsing of logic I can see. I know I am not alone in this core belief.

What the hell are we supposed to do about it? If we truly are under attack from within, and the leader of the "free world" is indeed intent upon the destruction of the United States, what are we to do? From where comes our hope against the threat? It appears increasingly as if political solutions will not suffice. The GOP is ill-equipped to deal with the threat, and their willingness to do so is in question. I find myself fantasizing about the Joint Chiefs and high ranking officers descending upon the White House & Capital with artillery, a 5-4 eviction notice from the Supreme Court, and about 400 pairs of handcuffs.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I concur completely with paragraph one, IDP.  As to paragraph 2...perhaps a bit too wishful...but I hope that scenario would be the worst outcome of all the bad outcomes that are possible.  God grant that it be better than worse!

But I prepare knowing the worst cannot be discarded out of hand.

I think the boys at the Pentagram are a little too pink to be of any assistance to a free Republic.

My thoughts as well. High level officers, particularly "staff" officers are politically motivated and in line with the PTB.

I don't think there are enough flag-ranked officers who actually remember the Constitution and have it mind more so than their careers. I think it'll be up to COL and below to so the right thing.
