Emmitt is right, this is insane.  Might as well call it the "Backs have to take hits" rule.  They want to see more passing anyway.

Then again, the counter rule will come in preventing defenders from jacking up guys even if they lower their shoulder into a ball-carriers mid-section...so these idiots are well on their way to either a) flag football or b) staged contests (remember the All-Star game of a couple years ago?).

NFL is not going to be around much longer, they are killing the golden goose and the people will have a crap sandwich without the bread and be told to like it.

I got tired of the trend away from NFL as it was to the NFL as it will be soon (tutu wearing pansies!) and quit fantasy football after participating in it for a quarter century, now it will be getting easier and easier to stop wasting my time watching this farce each fall/winter!

These idiots are going to kill the golden goose all to satisfy lawyers, retarded family members of players who had their bells rung and meddlesome politicians looking to grandstand on something pointless.

 

More proof of the War on Men, anything that makes men manly will be targeted for marginalization or elimination.
