So they created a rule two years ago that basically gives them a CYA card and a player a get-out-of-DQ card, does that make it right? I remember a time when signing an incorrect scorecard was an irrevocable DQ.

The meeting this morning was CYA, they all agreed that a 2 stroke penalty was OK even though they are denying there was anything to penalize yesterday...so they gave Tiger the Mulligan and he took it.
All I have to say is I hope this doesn't result in a Tiger win that allows him to surpass Nicklaus. At -3 and 4 back it would not be impossible.
As for Tiger, well...all I have to say is WWND (What Would Nicklaus Do?)!
I think he should have put the integrity of the game ahead of himself and bowed out. Such are the times we live in.
