Rather than comment on the articles thesis, the comments focus on if cellphone transmissions actually cause problems with aeronautics, basically further proving the Author's thesis: that these supposedly smart people are very, very stupid, childish, naive, know-it-alls .
But I will take it one further by proposing a reason. They are stupid because they have never had to produce real results in the real world, especially not in an environment they can't control. . They have never been held accountable for their actions, of believe they can't be because those silly social rules are for other people. They are stupid because they are Liberal and hold themselves and thier lives as the most important things in the universe.
