Saudi national arrested at Detroit Metro Airport

Page torn out of passport, in possession of pressure cooker

Multiple versions of why he was bringing a pressure cooker into the US "for nephew"; doesn't know how the page came to be missing from his passport.  And get a load of this:

Quote
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, urged caution.

"I hope that our government is not criminalizing people if they travel and have cooking items just because they are Muslim or come from the Muslim world," Walid said. "I don't think someone flying with an empty pressure cooker elevates to a level of terrorism unless the government has some other sound information."

"Cooking items".

Fck you Walid, your pressure cooker-toting "brother" and the camels youse rode in on.

"Let us assume for the moment everything you say about me is true. That just makes your problem bigger, doesn't it?"

What's he using it for? Cooking his pork?

Ha ha.

No, lamb.  According to his nephew in one version of the story.

One way or the other.

"We never want to jump to conclusions and read more into a situation than is there, but ...," McQuade said.

I would dance in the street firing an AK47 into the air shouting "Praise be to God!" if someone blew up CAIR.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
