I don't buy Christie knew nothing of the muslim brotherhood. Too many slims livin large in jersey.
I don't mind giving props for his fiscal responsibility, but disappointed to find he was in bed with some bad slims. He needs to stay where he is, where he can influence his state, I can cringe when this stuff surfaces and reason this is the northeast and it is the best we will do there.....for now. I believe what has occured here is the vetting needed on any potential candidate. Christie came out strong regarding budgets...and that is music to any conservatives ears. So we listened....and we vetted....and he has been found lacking.
I have certain lines in the sand I refuse to negotiate in regards to a Presidential candidate. Slummin with slims crosses one of those lines. I also do not want to become so rigid I'll allow myself to be swayed away from a candidate who may be strong in budgetary concerns, but weak (or weaker than I prefer), oh, in a social concern.
My perfect candidate would be me...But since I doubt I will find a candidate of exact like mind, do I need to settle for the next best? Do I need to prioritize? I honestly don't know the complete answer...but it ain't Christie.
