Here's my prediction:  actual contraceptive use will decline because why bother; the girls will be routinely popping these pills instead, afterward.

Well, the real objective is to reduce the number of humans populating the earth.  It will no doubt contribute in that regard, but may well help to clean up the gene pool as an unintended consequence, at the expense of their numbers, perhaps.
