Hauser's Law in Spain

Hauser's Law still operating in Spain

Since its not so much a law as a statistical truism, one could have argued that under more stressful budget problems, more taxes would be collected because the loopholes allowing high earner to escape would be closed.
But legally or illegally, that money wasn't collected in Spain despite Austerity.  People simply won't let you take that much - especially when they feel they are already hurting, and that they are getting next to nothing for the money they do pay the government.  One way or another the govt's percentage remains the same.  Who is John Galt?

Awesome, that first chart is doing a nice Immelmann turn!   ::hysterical::

Hey, why am I laughing?  We'll be in the same boat soon enough!

Heck, why wait?  In Minnie we are testing the theory that Hauser's Law is full of shyt!

But hey, keepin' the government big & strong is supposed to make us all feel better, right?  Right?!

But given the muppet-like behavior and brain-dead nature of the Sheeple, when the people feel the pinch (see chart below) who do they blame?  The government?  No?!  Big Business!  Big Rich White Guys!  Big Everything but Big Government!

Many are deserving the pain coming their way, those of us who have been screaming warnings, not so much...and like Elephants we have a good memory...good luck muppets, y'all going to be dropping like flies.

Might as well stop the engine of the world now, what's the point of waiting?
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
