2014 Minnesota Senate Race
« on: June 19, 2013, 07:59:40 AM »
Just got an e-mail on this - http://www.jimabeler.com/

Jim's a nice guy and I've met him a couple times, but not a conservative, not like us, he is of the pragmatic (think Bush 41) wing of the GOP, likes to tinker with numbers and be a policy-wonk.  A step up from Al Franken?  Well, uhh, yeah?  But a turd on a stick would be a step up from Al Franken!  He had a serious challenge just for district endorsement last go around for his State Rep seat, not convinced he can do better than Coleman did.  And Coleman was moderate too.

We can, we should, we must do better than this!

Maybe the Libertarians will put somebody up...
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

In this PL post...Nate Silver gives Frankenpoop an 80% probability of being re-elected.

No doubt the prospect of facing a weakling like Abler doubled Stuart's chances...   ::)

The rest of the article...GOP might get 50-51 seats?  Meh!

"It is. . .important to look for early indications of whether G.O.P. primary voters will be more tolerant of moderate and “main street” Republicans than they were in 2010 and 2012."

At this point, what difference does it make?   Lowfo Minnesotans demand lowfo leadership.  Leadership incapable of reading the bills they vote on.
