First thing, de-air condition DC; second thing, repeal the 17th Amendment.

First off, both the 16th and 17th amendments were deemed to be passed  but none actually ratified. We do know that this assumption has _ucked up America for a century.

Whatever can be done to make politicking a service and
not a profession will be steps in the right direction.

Here in AZ, we had a lady running for the US House seat against long time incumbent Ed Pastor.  Janet Contreras.   She also advocated the decentralization of Congress and demonstrated the savings by doing so.  One thing she said that I really chuckled about was that decentralizing Congress would force them to be physically closer to their constituents....

Which might be why she didn't win.....
