Magnum, I understand totally. The problem is that Islam directs and instructs its true believers to kill the infidels. Christianity teaches the true believers to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Now, if anybody wants to get into an argument with me about the moral equivalence of Islam and Christianity, then I'm gonna take the gloves off . . .
That seems to be the most common tactic that people who just don't get it about Islam use. The old moral equivalence BS. You can take passages out of the bible that are violent, they claim, just as you can take passages "out of context" from the Koran to support condemning the religion. Your first statement is the truth of it. Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed to one another. Usually, it's the non-religious who make that pathetic argument, but sometimes it's people who profess to be Christians who simply have no clue.
Allah is Satan. Islam is pure evil. Moderate Muslims? Nope. Moderate Muslims are not Muslims.
