The train operator is clearly a suicidal/homicidal maniac. Spain doesn't have a death penalty but maybe they will make an exception for this guy. I'd be voting to have him drawn and quartered.

Maybe he was trying to outdo the idiot captain of the Costa Concordia. He definitely succeeded in the area of body count but the ship was certainly more expensive than the train.

I'd call it narcissism.

I know people who get behind the wheel of a car with the same arrogant disregard for the danger they put others in with their driving.
