I modified the title of the thread and posts from "Seante" to "Senate"

I guess we'll see then whether Geithner's doom-and-gloom scenarios come to pass.

He was out there a month or o ago saying that failure to raise the debt ceiling would send us into credit default and national bankruptcy. As if we're not there already.

...And why exactly should we listen to a tax cheat that couldn't follow simple instructions from a pc TurboTax program? Geitner's old man and Jarett's old man both were peas in the same Marxist pod, destiny I guess.

Wat I can't stand is to listen to Stuart Varney parrot the same old BS. Poly want a horse turd? ::gaah::

Did you see Bill Clinton saying the government shutdown wouldn't be such a bad thing?

I didn't see that. I think Hillary still plans to stick a shiv in the current administration and this could be Bill helping out. He's dropped one on Obama at a few other opportune moments. Remember when Obama dithered over the oil spill, and Bill prominently stated that the time for recriminations is later, and that right now the President needs to be focused on getting the spill under control.

Good, good, good!  Let the Clintons take down Duh Wun - when your enemy is shooting themselves, just stay out of the way - and then we'll take them down.
