Looks like an effort with Tea Party Patriot backing. All I can say is, what the hell do we have to lose, and if we're gonna do it, better to do it now when a majority of state legislatures are in the hands of Republicans.

The Federal Government is broken.
Washington D.C. will never voluntarily relinquish its power. Left unchecked, the government will continue to bankrupt this nation and destroy the liberty of the people. It is time for citizens and the States to act and we have the solution.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

This is the process which Levin outlines in "Liberty Amendments" under Article V.

"All existing Article V efforts to reduce the power of Washington, D.C., are aimed at particular amendments. Every one of these ideas would be germane at a Convention of the States under the application that CSG has prepared. Mark Levin, who is not only a well-known talk show host but a fine constitutional scholar as well, has recently begun to advocate the calling of a Convention of the States for a group of amendments that he calls the “Liberty Amendments.” Of his 11 proposed amendments, 10 would be germane at the Convention of the States using the CSG model application." - See more at: http://conventionofstates.com/learn-convention-states-0#sthash.yWa6JkB6.dpuf

You must work for a liberty-loathing outfit too...well, that won't last much longer...

Back on topic...perhaps it cannot gain enough traction in time to matter, but again it is an important statement to make.  If Wiki can be trusted  ::)  party control of legislatures is 27 Rep, 17 Dem, 5 split and 1 (NE) Non-Partisan.  Even assuming the 27 are solid, it is an uphill battle to find 8 more willing to call a convention...but I doubt the 27 are solid (ruling class types infest the GOP at all levels), so the number could be much higher than 8.  But yeah, what have we got to lose?  Should go for it!  This is something which should appeal to Tea Party types, conservatives, libertarians and constitutionalists.

Question...
Why do we need to adhere to  the Constitution when  our domestic enemies don't?
Make it a flat out separation. We don't need permission or to care about the opinions of  those who have so  mangled the  Constitution as to  render it so unrecognizable it is, in fact, moot!

I say we stick to the Constitution. Those that have mangled it are traitors and should be shot.

A good start, anyway.

Yes, when the no-knock home-invasions of citizens becomes widespread it will be known immediately who is on the wrong side of the Constitution, nobody will believe the MFM or the State (like there's a difference anyway)...

Then all types of polite discussion will have ended.

Try climbing into a  boxing ring, and sticking to  the rules, against an opponent who has a knife.
And will tell you you must keep  your  gloves on.
You'll  never win.
