At 42 this is going to bring the average lifespan of stunt people down a bit...no mention of family or anything, don't know much else about the fella, but RIP.

I wonder if there was a "hold my beer and watch this" moment before impact?

Something that epic requires some sort of famous last words...

Those wingsuits have to be the ultimate expression of the thrill-seeker mentality. I imagine the emotions being a dual intensity of ultimate freedom and ultimate dread. But I'm convinced that thrill-seeker types have the ability to turn off the dread-switch, and just experience the thrill. Until they go splat, that is. I bet that's a pretty dreadful .25 second.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson

Yeah, I don't see these extremers being wired to be overly concerned about fear, I'm sure they take all the equipment prep and safety considerations seriously but when they hurl themselves it has to be all about the rush.

That 1/4 second probably felt like it was forever, but at least in real time it was quick.

I think the last word is "oops!" maaaaybe "uh-oh!"  but the timing points to "oops!"
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”
Phil Robertson an elder in the church of Christ

Last words coulda-shoulda been "OhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGodOhGod".
"Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain

"Let us assume for the moment everything you say about me is true. That just makes your problem bigger, doesn't it?"
