I guess $300 million is just chump change because it IS going down a rathole. They could throw $300 billion at it and it would still go down a rathole. $300 million won't even cover the pension payments for very long. Whatever pension payments doesn't swallow will go to graft and corruption.

Barry is doing nothing but feeding the Democrats who are still gorging at the trough. Detroit is a 3rd world hellhole (I was born in the city and grew up in the 'burbs and I know from personal experience that the blight started under Democrat civic and county leadership beginning with Jerome Cavanaugh in the early Sixties and continuing through to today, though Dave Bing was a helluva lot handier with a basketball than he is running a city) and it will not come back as long as people have the mistaken notion that pouring money into a black hole will actually yield a result.
Nope. Best thing is to bulldoze and let the rats take over. The rats have a better plan, because they don't depend on graft and greed to get their next meal.
