LC Greenwood, defensive end for the Steel Cutain, arguably one of the best defenses ever, died at 67 from kidney failure.

Rest in Peace.

The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

As much as I hated the Steelers, I knew the individuals were fine and decent human beings. RIP LC.

Yeah, rascals beat the Vikings in a low scoring affair in the only Super Bowl appearance of four that wasn't a rout.

 ::gaah::

Anyway, don't know much about LC, but 69 and kidney failure is a bummer, prayers for friends & family, RIP LC.

The Steelers/Vikings of the 70's are the stuff of legends. Unfortunately for the Vikings, part of the legend is never winning the Super Bowl, even with one of the greatest teams of all time.

The best Vikings team of that era got screwed in the Dallas game by that no-call shove by Pearson!
