 I was just watching Cavuto and some clown was supporting the claims made by some Demonrats that drilling permits would stop in the gulf. So I do a little checking and come up with this instantly:

By contrast, permitting for land-based oil and gas activities wouldn’t continue during a shutdown, the document indicates. Offshore permitting would continue because Interior has other funding available for those operations and does not need a new appropriation from Congress, the document says.

 So once again they get caught in a lie!I don't think they would tell the truth even if it made for a better story than a lie!!

They lie about everything, the least of which is not the nature of how many permits are authorized or the ratio of permits needed per productive well discovered!
