TGI Friday’s Waiter Allegedly Tricked Muslim Woman Into Consuming Bacon

According to ABC News, a TGI Friday's waiter allegedly tricked Queen, who is Muslim, into consuming bacon by putting it inside her beverage straw. Queen had originally asked her waiter to hold the bacon in her Cobb salad because her religion forbids eating pork. She assumed that the waiter was uncomfortable with her request and she said the table was not treated well the entire meal. At the end of the lunch another waiter asked if Queen wanted an iced tea refill to-go. She accepted, thinking it was a nice gesture to make up for the previously bad service, but upon taking a sip of the beverage she discovered that bacon had been packed into the straw.

Yah, my GAS meter is busted as far as 'slims go and their "issues".

She could have simply asked that the bacon be omitted, but no, she had to elaborate.

Members of my family have food allergy issues so we've had to ask for no onions, no cheese, no this or no that.  We don't explain why we just say could we have that without such and such.  No one at any place has ever given us a hard time.

She assumed the waiter was uncomfortable with the request.  Of course, she did.

and general lifestyle...& btw, there's a bit of bacon in my straw, infidel dog.

I'll give you an alternate explanation to this story. I bet dollars to donuts that "Queen" is that certain kind of American that tends to convert to Islam, and that same certain kind of American is also well known to be sh*tty tippers at restaurants. I'd bet any issues with the service she received stemmed from that more than her religion.
